Students can expect a comprehensive, hands-on training experience that integrates clinical practice with regular supervision and professional development. Trainees will work with diverse client populations, engage in case discussions, and apply psychological theories to real-world settings under the guidance of licensed professionals.
MCMH offers individualized supervision, ongoing feedback, and opportunities to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. Trainees are encouraged to explore different therapeutic approaches, participate in didactics, and reflect on their experiences to foster growth as ethical and competent clinicians.
Students will gain experience in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy. They will also be exposed to a variety of behavioral health concerns and learn to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
MCMH welcomes graduate-level trainees in Psychology (Ph.D./ Psy.D.), Social Work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). Applicants should be enrolled in accredited programs and have a foundational understanding of clinical practice. We also have a Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship and a Post-Doctoral Psychology Fellowship for psychologists who are graduating or have graduated from accredited programs.
