About the Program

At the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health, we believe that true wellness comes from caring for the whole person. Our Wellness Center offers comprehensive, wrap-around support designed to address every aspect of your well-being.

Our Wellness Center is a community-based program designed to integrate therapeutic wellness activities with peer-supported community engagement and care coordination. The Center aims to improve behavioral health functioning and enhance participants’ ability to manage daily tasks and maintain wellness through structured support, skill-building, and social connection.

Our Wellness Center Offers:

  • Wellness Workshops: Weekly sessions on mindfulness, stress management, sleep hygiene, and goal setting.
  • Life Skills Groups:Hands-on activities that build competence in daily tasks including cooking classes, job-readiness training, and home care routines.
  • Community Circles: Peer-led discussion groups focused on shared experiences and mutual support.
  • Creative & Recreational Therapies: Art therapy, music groups, yoga, and nature walks to promote emotional expression and physical wellness.

Our dedicated team of care coordinators and Peers work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized plan of groups that supports your unique needs and goals.
