Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service, fostering a positive experience, and promoting an environment of respect and inclusivity for all individuals.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, listening, and the ability to inform others and effectively communicate with management.
- Proficiency in telephone and computer systems, including familiarity with EHRs and previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and exhibits a strong customer focus.
- Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to handle pressure effectively.
- Bilingual Spanish and English skills are required.
- A university/college degree is an asset, but itis not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Create a Welcoming Environment: Serve visitors by warmly greeting and welcoming them, checking in patients through the EHR, and directing them appropriately. Your ability to create a comfortable and welcoming space for all, regardless of background, is paramount.
- Visitor Notification: Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
- Payment Processing: Receive and record cash and check payments.
- Transportation Reimbursement: Record reimbursement of transportation for patients.
- Security and Telecommunications: Maintain security and telecommunications systems through connection with the Office Manager and Director of Operations.
- Information and Navigation: Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries and direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Facility Security: Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring the logbook.
- System Operation: Operate telecommunication/computer systems by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Reception Area: Keep asafe and clean reception area by complying with policies and procedures, rules,and regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Mail Management: Retrieve mail from the next-door building.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Able to open and close the facility.
